Lessons & Training

For the year 2008, Cedar Ridge Equines will be taking a limited number of horses in training. Our facility is very diverse in that our staff is talented in many disciplines of riding.

Part Time Training: 3 rides per week
Full Time Training: 5 days per week
Per Ride: Any riding/lunging less than 3 rides per week

Our accomplished equestrian, Amy Prechter, offers
both Private and Group Lessons

Private Lessons: The student receives a full hour of one on one instruction, where he or she learns to have confidence with the horse. Amy works with the student to develop their own individual techniques and strategies on which to work.

Group Lessons: The advantages of learning in a group atmosphere allow students and their horses to build social confidence around other riders and horses while learning.

Horse Camp 2008: Cedar Ridge Equines Horse Camp offers a beginners horse camp for ages 5 and up. Next year we are hoping to add an advanced horsemanship camp, too. Our camps include the following every day: one hour of riding time, one hour of on the ground horsemanship, and one hour of an equine-related craft. Our camps allow our campers to have fun, build their confidence, meet new friends, and create memories that will last forever. So sign up early to reserve your space. Dates to be announced soon!

Cost: $250 for one week horsemanship camp.
Mandadory $50 deposite due no later than May 1, 2008
