When we were invited to create vinyl lettering for the cowling of a modified WWII Sea Fury, we were told the heat friction would be extreme while it was racing around the pylons at 500+ mph. Even though we use the best high performance vinyl for our signs and utilize utmost care with installation, the heat friction limit on our material had not yet been tested.
We are very pleased to announce that our multi-color vinyl artwork erased any doubts by surviving the rigors of the 1999 Reno Air Races with absolutely no wear or tear!
